What's New
December 2009 - Happy Holidays to all of our clients and friends!  Although it's not quite over
yet, 2009 is already, by far, our most successful year ever.   This time of year always causes us
to reflect back over the entire year.  With Thanksgiving just behind us, we are truly
thankful for all of our blessings.

The end of the year finds us in new offices, with new clients as well as old, some new
employees and some new friends, but the fundamentals don't really change. The custom
software business is about relationships.  The better we understand your requirements, the
better the final product will be.  In this business, arrogance is the only unforgivable sin.  I guess
we must be doing something right, because you, our clients and friends, keep trusting us with
your projects again and again.   And, that's why our practice keeps growing.  Here's wishing you
a joyous holiday season and a most prosperous 2010.

December 2009 – Please welcome our newest associates, Matt Richter.  Matt is currently
pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science at DePaul University.  He comes to us with
lots of great experience
in the futures industry as well as has worked on the Reuters API
development team.  Next time you call, say hi to Matt.

September 2009 – Over the years we’ve developed charts as a part of many of our
applications.  Well, we figured the time had finally come for us to step back and pull together the
best features of all of these and offer it as a product.  The result: LA Chart.  LA Chart is a full
function charting package that can work with a number of different data feeds.  It’s clean and
simple and very easy to use.  We’re very excited about the product and are now offering it free to
customers who would like to participate in our beta program.   For more details,

June 2009 Piyusha Desai.  Piyusha comes fresh out of Loyola Graduate School.  With
Masters of Science in Software Technology, Piyusha brings great knowledge and experience to
help in our projects.  Say hi to Piyusha the next time you call us!

May 2009  – Spring has finally come!  With the new quarter rolling in, we are making great
progress.  Start of warm weather brings good news!  We are moving to a more spacious new
office.  We continue to grow and, even though we've only been in our current space for a year,
we're already feeling a little cramped.  Our new office is in the same building, 800 Custer Ave,
Evanston.  But now we're in Suite 5.  This gives us a great view of the spring weather from our
common room and break room.  And the new space should make us more productive each day.

January 2009  – Brrrr!  In our part of the country, we’ve been in the deep freeze all winter long.
There’s two feet of snow we haven’t seen the ground since Thanksgiving.  Earlier this month,
parts of the Chicago area recorded temperatures of minus 25 degrees. And that’s without the
wind chill!  I guess we can all be thankful for Global Warming.  Without it, there’s no telling how
cold it would get!  But, we’ve been bravely struggling on.  Our offices have been open every day.
And we’re warmed by the knowledge that we’re making a difference, giving our clients an edge
in these troubling economic times.

Larmee Associates welcomes two new associates:

Deepal Mehta.  Deepal is currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems at Loyola
University. She’s helping us out with quality assurance and technical documentation as she
builds up her programming knowledge.  Deepal is a fast learner and has hit the ball out of the
park with everything we’ve thrown at her. Next time you call, say hi to Deepal!

Usha Shyamsunder.  Usha comes to us from exotic India.  Instead of outsourcing our work to
India, we’ve brought India to us!  Usha is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer
Science at Loyola University. She comes to us with great technical experience.  She’s already
hit the ground running on several programming projects.  And the quality of her work is  -- no
pun intended -- world class!  Say hi to Usha the next time you talk to us.
